Our Sweet Apple
We miss you so much already.
We will miss your greeting in the morning
and your help with our chores.
We enjoyed playing your whistling game,
and listening to all your sweet calls and whispers
"Hey baby! What a ya doin...huh? Apple! Pretty bird!"
You were a wonderful teacher to our other birds
and a fun friend.
Thank you for the companionship and for the
time you gave to us so freely.
We truly miss you.
